Thirty3's new album Audacity will be available winter of 2008. The disc will feature two parts. The first part will be a regular audio CD, and the second part will be data. The data portion of the disc will feature copies of the audio in MP3 100 quality VBR format. In addition to the MP3's, there will be copies of the album art, amongst other things.

In short, when you buy the cd, you get two licenses. The MP3's can be used on whatever computer or portable device that you own.
